ENERGOPROM Group is among the top five world producers of carbon and graphite products.
Established in November 2007 by consolidation of carbon industry enterprises (Novocherkassk Electrode Plant, Chelyabinsk Electrode Plant and the Novosibirsk Electrode Plant.
In 2008 production of high-tech structure and shaped products, chemical equipment based on carbon was incorporated into a separate company of the Group - Doncarb Graphite.
The Group's share in 2010 accounted for more than 25% of the world carbon electrodes production market, 10% cathode blocks and about 5% of graphite electrodes.
The Group carries out projects to set up graphite production by isostatic pressing, construction of anode plant.
Energoprom Group is the largest manufacturer of carbon electrodes in the world.
The Group exports its products to the markets of the CIS countries and Europe, North America, Africa and Australia.
The main product consumers are aluminum, steel, silicon, ferroalloys, chemical, nuclear, engineering, aerospace, electronic and energy industries.
The Group employs about 6,000 people.
The company has its own research base.
